The MA DPH Food Protection Program issued updated guidance, effective as of October 7, 2024, regarding allergen awareness training requirements. The Berkshire AHEC training video is no longer approved for use under these updated requirements and the course is no longer open for new registrations.
Given the increase in the number of allergen awareness training courses, MA DPH has expanded access to allergen awareness training options. Berkshire AHEC has decided not to update their course to meet current requirements due to the increase in alternatives for this training. All current certificates are valid until their date of expiration and continue to be available upon logging in to your user account.
